ISCAST Ltd,
The Institute for the Study of Christianity in an Age of Science and Technology,
is a non-profit company (ABN 11 003 429 338) which studies issues related to Christianity
and the scientific and technological thinking in our society.
The Fellows of ISCAST are
academically of the standard of the teaching staff of Australian universities.
They take a theological stance which, among other things, declares that Jesus,
the living Word of God, is revealed in the Holy Scriptures. ISCAST is interested
in the relation between basic Christian doctrinal statements and the theoretical
bases of modern science and technological development.

Aims of ISCAST
- To promote an understanding of science, technology and the Christian faith
which is consistent with the Judaeo-Christian doctrine of Creation, with its
emphasis on God as the God of nature.
- To promote scholarship, teaching and discussion in this area.
- To engage in debate on the public understanding of science, technological
development and application, and religion in order to inform the Christian
church, its members and associated organisations, and to bring informed opinion
to the public arena - engaging in public debate in the media and in other
secular institutions.
